OUR PLANET
We are committed to finding opportunities to reduce our environmental impact and constantly looking for ways to make sustainability improvements at our cinemas. Along the way, encouraging our customers and suppliers to do the same.
Our ODEON Milton Keynes Stadium cinema is ‘lit by the sun’ with 286m surface area of solar panels providing 85% of the electricity used to light the building. The cinema recycles 90% of its waste and water consumption has been reduced by approximately 40% due to low flush toilets.
In Sweden, our recycling stations offer guests six different recycling options and we are phasing out plastic gift cards in favour of cardboard/digital cards. In Germany we have developed a fully recyclable FSC certified nachos tray, meaning we’ll save 22 tonnes of plastic waste each year!

Finnkino 'Health For You' range delights our guests
We hosted 519 midnight screenings of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on its opening night across 116 cinemas, and 102 of these screenings (almost 20%) were subtitled for our guests
